Look, we know planning a spectacular conference, assembly, meeting, or any event takes a lot of time and money. We also understand that success is measured by how much the audience learns, remembers, and enjoys the experience. Whether you need an opening or closing keynote speaker, our goal is to make your job easier, make you look fantastic, and ensure that your event is a huge success!
Submit your booking request from our website and Ben's booking coordinator will follow up with details and confirm Ben’s availability for your specified date.
To secure a date on Ben’s calendar, we will ask you to complete an online event questionnaire. Once our office receives the completed questionnaire, we will send you our contract to review and sign. A non-refundable 50% deposit of his fee is required.
Ben is available to meet with you and others on your team virtually or over the telephone as needed. Marketing materials - Ben's headshot, bio, and introduction can be downloaded below.
Ben’s remaining balance will be due no later than 10 days prior to your scheduled event unless otherwise arranged. Ben will reach out to the main contact for the event to answer any questions about the set-up.
Ben generally arrives at the event venue approximately 60 minutes ahead of doors opening. This allows for sound check and to make sure that the frame has been constructed correctly.
TAKE HOME THE MESSAGE
All of Ben’s keynotes involve a high-energy, dramatic live art experience called Speedscaping. As an add-on, our team can customize your very own signature art prints of the Speedscape that Ben will create live, for your attendees to have as mementos, complete with your organization’s logo or event theme printed on each print. This additional piece makes a perfect “swag” gift that helps amplify the event while getting your audience to remember the message by taking the experience home with them.
Ben’s presentation consists not only of a powerful, inspiring message, but also of a live, and rapid creation of a beautiful drawing on a canvas that measures 6×8 feet that he calls Speedscaping. He doesn’t speak while drawing – he’s moving too fast to do that. The drawing is accompanied by beautiful and moving music with the house lights down and a spotlight on the canvas. It’s fun to see the drawing come to life!
A typical presentation is 45-60 minutes long. Ben is very flexible and can adjust his programing to fit any time frame. That said, you want to allot a minimum of 25 minutes for him to speak and do the drawing.
We require the client to build the frame and stretch the canvas ahead of Ben’s arrival. Here are simple directions and diagram, to help do this quickly and pain-free. Ben brings the “legs” to which the frame will be attached if he is driving. If he is flying, he asks to be provided additional lumber so he can build the legs when he arrives. The details of exactly what is needed is listed in his Rider.
Assuming that the frame is ready as required and all other A/V/Set-up needs have been met, Ben can be set up and ready to go in about 30 minutes.
The total cost of all supplies is between $50-60 per frame. This includes the drop cloths, so if you are providing multiple frames, additional frames are more in the $30-40 range.
Yes. Ben’s program coordinator will happily pencil in a date if available while finalizing the details of an event. If another client is interested in booking for the same date, you will have 48 hours to make a firm decision, one way or another, on the date.
Ben’s presentation can be recorded only for non-commercial/non-distribution purposes. Selling or making multiple copies of the recording is not permissible. If a recording is made, a copy will need to be provided to our office.
Ben strongly encourages the purchase of a large piece of lucite or plexiglass and drilling it directly onto the frame on which the drawing is stretched. No spacers are necessary. A professional framing job is always a great way to go, but is unfortunately very expensive. The drawing can be hung as is, if hung where people won’t be able to touch it and in a location which avoids drafts.

Download Ben’s full bio to include with your marketing materials. This could be used for conference programs, fliers, or other promotional materials for your event.
Here you will find Ben’s requested lighting, stage, and AV setup that is most preferred while speaking. This setup is not required for the event but is HIGHLY recommended.
Every time Ben speaks, a Speedscape is involved. The client needs to purchase the frame materials and construct the frame for the Speedscape. This is not super complicated. Find step by step instructions in Ben's rider.
During Ben’s presentation, the screen image should either be your company logo or your event’s theme slide. We have created an “Intro Screen” which you can use before and/or after Ben’s presentation.
